Privacy Policy

Effective July 25, 2026. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Kinetic Marketing ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This page describes how we handle personal information collected through kineticmarketing.ca and in the course of providing print, promotional products, apparel, and design services. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Who we are

Kinetic Marketing is a print and branded-merchandise studio based in Kemptville, Ontario, serving clients across Eastern Ontario. We are the data controller responsible for personal information collected through this website and our services.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to inquiries and fulfil orders:

  • Contact details you submit — name, email, phone number, company, and any project details you share through our contact form or by email.
  • Artwork and files you upload for a quote or production.
  • Order and billing information needed to produce and deliver your job (shipping address, order specs, invoices).
  • Basic technical data your browser sends when visiting the site (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) used for security and site reliability.

How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry and provide quotes.
  • To produce, invoice, and ship the products you order.
  • To send transactional emails such as order confirmations and follow-ups.
  • To keep the website secure and operating correctly.
  • To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Sharing & subprocessors

We share personal information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the business, and only to the extent needed:

  • Website hosting, database, storage, and email delivery infrastructure.
  • Print, apparel, and promotional-product suppliers who fulfil parts of your order.
  • Shipping carriers to deliver finished goods.
  • Professional advisors (accountants, legal) where legally required.

These providers are bound by contract or law to protect your information and only use it for the purposes we specify. We do not transfer your data outside Canada except where a service provider operates in another jurisdiction; in that case, it may be subject to the laws of that country.

Cookies & analytics

We use a small number of first-party cookies required for the site to work (for example, to remember your session if you sign in). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Contact-form messages and quote requests are typically kept for up to 24 months. Order records, invoices, and artwork used in production are kept for up to seven years to meet tax and accounting requirements. You can request earlier deletion — see Your rights.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and private storage for uploaded artwork. Only authorized team members can access customer submissions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected individuals and the appropriate authorities if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, as required by PIPEDA.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Withdraw consent or request deletion, subject to legal and contractual obligations.
  • File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at Robbin@kineticmarketing.ca. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Our services are directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page will always reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
